The story of this model
The handkerchief model is considered a true work of art, symbolizing Italian glassmaking from the 1950s. Designed for the first time by painter Fulvio Bianconi, this vase is inspired by the shape of a handkerchief fluttered by a hand and moved by the wind, hence the name. Its unique curves and asymmetric tips are a masterpiece of craftsmanship, providing an incredible sense of movement and freedom, here emphasized by colorful glass mace and murrine.
How is Sole made?
Sole is created using the "hand-blown" technique, where master glassmakers work with hot, fine Murano glass. The precise and well-calibrated movements, combined with gravity, shape the tips of the handkerchief vase into ever-new forms, with chance playing a role in generating a completely unique piece each time. This model features a finish with mace—fragments of colored glass in green-blue tones—and murrine that evoke the stylized design of the sun.

- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.

Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
