The story of this model
The handkerchief model is considered a true work of art, symbolizing Italian glassmaking from the 1950s. Designed for the first time by painter Fulvio Bianconi, this vase is inspired by the shape of a handkerchief waved by a hand and blown by the wind, hence the name. Its unique curves and asymmetric tips are a masterpiece of craftsmanship, giving an incredible sense of movement and freedom.
How is Fazzoletto made?
Fazzoletto is made using the "mano volante" technique, where master glassmakers work the precious Murano glass while it is hot. Decisive and well-calibrated movements, combined with the force of gravity, allow the tips of the handkerchief vase to take on ever-new shapes, where chance plays a part, resulting in an absolutely unique piece each time.

Beyond the craftsmanship, techniques, and unmistakable details, our items come with a specific certificate of authenticity. All of our products are handmade by our master glassmakers in Venice, following the ancient Murano tradition.
If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:
- Product Exchange.
- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
Each shipment is insured against theft and breakage.
