The history of this model
This model of classic Venetian chandelier dates back to the early 18th century and is characterized by floral shapes, here finished in 24kt gold. In addition to being a celebration of nature, these decorations were introduced by Murano glassmakers to distinguish their work from other productions emerging on the market, such as Bohemian crystal, which allowed for greater light refraction thanks to its facets. In response to these new tastes, Venetian production had to innovate by developing increasingly elaborate forms.
How is Dandolo made?
This table lamp in transparent Murano glass is blown by our master glassmakers into special molds to shape the main pieces. Dandolo is then enhanced with 24kt gold leaf coloring, achieved by applying thin sheets of gold to the still-molten glass. During the blowing process, these sheets dissolve, creating a metallic and reflective effect. The design unfolds with a simple base supporting a gold-rimmed lampshade that evokes the shape of a magnificent calla lily.

Beyond the craftsmanship, techniques, and unmistakable details, our items come with a specific certificate of authenticity. All of our products are handmade by our master glassmakers in Venice, following the ancient Murano tradition.
If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:
- Product Exchange.
- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
Each shipment is insured against theft and breakage.
Once we receive your order, it is sent into production. Depending on the complexity and size of the item, it typically takes about one month to complete. Once ready, the item is shipped to the specified destination.
