The history of this model
This classic Venetian table lamp has its roots in the early 18th century and is characterized by intricate arabesques of leaves and flowers. In addition to celebrating nature, these decorations were introduced by Murano glassmakers to distinguish themselves from other productions beginning to emerge in the market, such as Bohemian crystal, which allowed for greater light refraction due to its facets. In response to these new tastes, Venetian production had to innovate by developing increasingly elaborate forms.
How is Amelia made?
This transparent Murano glass table lamp with various colored decorations is entirely handcrafted in the furnaces where our master glassmakers work diligently, blowing glass into molds to shape the main pieces. Amelia features a base worked with the "balloton" technique to achieve the distinctive rhomboid texture. The floral-shaped shade has colorful decorations in "fogo" and petals worked with the "rigadin" technique, which involves straight, parallel lines.

Beyond the craftsmanship, techniques, and unmistakable details, our items come with a specific certificate of authenticity. All of our products are handmade by our master glassmakers in Venice, following the ancient Murano tradition.
If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:
- Product Exchange.
- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
Each shipment is insured against theft and breakage.
Once we receive your order, it is sent into production. Depending on the complexity and size of the item, it typically takes about one month to complete. Once ready, the item is shipped to the specified destination.
