The Story of This Model
This modern chandelier is inspired by the Sputnik type, named after the first artificial satellite launched into orbit around the Earth in 1957. What connects this chandelier to the famous satellite is its shape. Sputnik was composed of a central sphere with four long radio antennas extending outward to transmit signals to the base. This unusual shape soon inspired the world of industrial design, leading to lamps featuring a central body with brass rays and luminous glass elements at the ends.

How is Virus Made?
This elegant spherical chandelier features numerous tentacle-shaped crystals, available in various colors, all handmade from Murano glass using the "fogo" technique. This technique involves mixing colored mineral pigments with the glass matrix to maintain the transparency of the glass. The central structure of Virus is a chrome-plated metal rod, with the terminal sphere serving as an anchor point for the skillfully twisted glass elements, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of our master glassmakers.
