The Story of This Model
Inspired by the classic forms of Venetian chandeliers, the absence of decorations makes this model’s lines more essential, creating a piece that is both elegant and modern. The matte black crystal, combined with glossy borders, adds an extra touch of refinement and luxury to this unique piece, currently displayed at the ALM Studios showroom in London.
How is Venezia Black Made?
This Murano glass chandelier is crafted entirely by hand in the furnaces, where our artisans work diligently, blowing glass into molds to shape the main components. Using specialized tools, they meticulously model the details, repeatedly placing the piece back into the furnace to keep it malleable. Venezia Black features a matte black tint achieved through the "pasta" coloring technique. The glossy borders and droplet-shaped terminal, on the other hand, get their glossy black finish from the "fogo" coloring, which involves mixing colored mineral pigments into the glass matrix.

Beyond the craftsmanship, techniques, and unmistakable details, our items come with a specific certificate of authenticity. All of our products are handmade by our master glassmakers in Venice, following the ancient Murano tradition.
If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:
- Product Exchange.
- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
Each shipment is insured against theft and breakage.
Once we receive your order, it is sent into production. Depending on the complexity and size of the item, it typically takes about one month to complete. Once ready, the item is shipped to the specified destination.
