The Story of This Model
This classic Venetian chandelier dates back to the early 18th century and is characterized by intricate arabesques of leaves and flowers, enhanced by colored glass. Besides celebrating nature, these decorations were introduced by Murano glassmakers to distinguish their work from other productions emerging in the market, such as Bohemian crystal, which allowed for greater light refraction due to its facets. In response to these new tastes, Venetian production had to innovate, developing increasingly refined forms.
How is Sonia Made?
This Murano glass chandelier is entirely handmade in the furnaces where our glass masters work diligently by blowing glass into molds to shape the main pieces. Sonia starts with a central body featuring a cut glass cup to achieve the characteristic petal edge, which is repeated in the cups at the end of each arm. Leaves with serrated edges and colorful flowers in fogo are created by introducing the piece multiple times into the furnace to keep it workable. Once completed, the pieces are gradually cooled in specific ovens to ensure proper curing.

If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:

- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
