The story of this model
This model is inspired by the grand chandeliers designed for Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, one of the most influential figures of the 18th century. These chandeliers, with a metal frame finely covered with glass and enriched with crystal pendants, soon became prototypes of an entire genre. Symbolizing power and opulence, these chandeliers quickly adorned the halls of Europe’s most prestigious palaces, establishing the Maria Teresa model as an enduring classic of lighting. The Principessa model represents the epitome of Murano opulence, blending artisanal tradition with a sumptuous design that pays homage to the historical magnificence of imperial chandeliers.

How it is made

This Murano glass chandelier, extending over a meter in both height and diameter, is a masterpiece of art and ingenuity. The metal frame, chrome or gold-plated, allows for the creation of chandeliers of such considerable dimensions. The ornamental Murano glass covering, available in both transparent and colored variants, showcases the skilled craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers, giving character and uniqueness to each piece. In this 24-light composition, the numerous arms are arranged on two levels, extending upward and always enriched with crystal cords and drop-shaped pendants. These decorative elements, also available in Swarovski crystal, give the chandelier a dazzling visual impact.

What type of décor is ideal for this Murano chandelier?

This chandelier is perfect for large and prestigious spaces such as grand salons, formal dining rooms, and monumental classic-style entrances. Its intricate structure and abundance of crystals make it ideal for those who desire a spectacular element capable of becoming the absolute centerpiece. With its sumptuous appearance, the Maria Teresa model will infuse luxury and regal elegance into any space, transforming it into a dreamlike setting.
