The Story of This Model
Inspired by the classic forms of Venetian chandeliers, the absence of elaborate decorations makes the lines of this model more essential, creating a piece that is both elegant and modern. The presence of volutes around the central stem nods to the Pastorale model, named after the bishop's pastoral staff, inspiring its curled shape. The black coloration, enhanced with 24k gold streaks, gives the composition an exceptionally luxurious appearance.

How is Mafalda Made?
Handcrafted entirely in our Murano furnaces, this chandelier features a rich 24k gold leaf coloration. This effect is achieved by applying ultra-thin layers of 24k gold or silver to the still-molten glass, which, during blowing, turns into a metallic and reflective powder. Once the work is complete, the chandelier is allowed to cool in special kilns that ensure a gradual cooling process.
