The history of this model
Inspired by the classic forms of the Venetian chandelier tradition, the absence of showy decorations makes the lines of this model more essential, making it an elegant yet modern piece. This variant of Mafalda is lightened by the absence of the pastorals, the curls in the shape of the bishop's eponymous staff. The red coloring enriched by the inclusion of 24kt gold streaks gives the composition an extremely vivid and bold look.

How is Giorgia made?
This Murano glass chandelier is made entirely by hand inside the furnaces where our craftsmen work strenuously blowing the glass inside the molds to shape the main pieces. Giorgia's precious gold leaf coloring is achieved by applying very thin 24Kt gold or silver foils to the glass that has not yet solidified, which, when blown, are pulverized to create a metallic and reflective effect. Once the processing is finished, the chandelier is then left to cool in special furnaces that ensure gradual cooling.
