The Story of This Model
This classic Venetian chandelier model dates back to the early 18th century and is characterized by intricate arabesques of leaves and flowers, finished here with 24kt gold. These decorations were introduced by Murano glassmasters to set themselves apart from other productions emerging on the market, such as Bohemian crystal, which allowed for greater light refraction due to its facets. In response to these new tastes, Venetian production had to innovate by developing increasingly refined shapes.
How is Dandolo Made?
This transparent Murano glass chandelier is blown by our glassmasters into specific molds to shape the main pieces. Dandolo is then enriched with 24kt gold leaf, applied to the still-malleable glass in ultra-thin gold sheets, which vaporize during blowing to create a metallic and refractive effect. The composition unfolds as an explosion of natural elements from the central stem, with leaves and flowers cut to create the characteristic petal border. The arms of this chandelier curve downward, ending in floral cups that resemble magnificent calla lilies.

Beyond the craftsmanship, techniques, and unmistakable details, our items come with a specific certificate of authenticity. All of our products are handmade by our master glassmakers in Venice, following the ancient Murano tradition.
If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for:
- Product Exchange.
- Store Credit: a full refund of the product value, minus shipping, packaging, and other fees, will be credited to your account as store credit. This credit has no expiration date and can be used as cash at any time for any purchase in our store.
- Cash Refund: the full amount paid, minus shipping, gift wrapping, or other fees (duties and taxes), will be refunded to your credit card, PayPal, or bank account (see details below).
Once the merchandise is received and its integrity verified, we will initiate the refund process as quickly as possible.
